Description
A musician plays his trumpet in the rain on a wet January day. He stands in Jackson Square, New Orleans, near St. Louis Cathedral. His jacket and cap somewhat protect him from the weather. He is the ONLY musician around at this time of the day. In the distance a man walks toward the doorway in the cathedral.

Thanks, Michel! I wanted you to know what went on in my head when I took that. Funny how I can remember that and not where I put my keys! :) kk

Thanks, Steve and Michel for your kind comments. Two reasons this photo is like this--- he was on the move and I wanted to get him by the signs for Pirate's Alley and Chartres St. and to have the man in blue entering the cathedral. I also wanted to show the rather vacant square area which is usually quite the opposite.
