Artist's Description
A performer in Jackson Square of the French Quarter of New Orleans shows his audience how well he can swallow swords! At one point he swallowed two of them at one time. Needless to say, he had to be VERY careful. He also let a teenage boy pull them out of his mouth. Gotta love the Quarter!

I am Kathleen K. Parker, a native of New Orleans. Over the years, I have worked as a contract venue photographer for AOL-Time Warner, a virtual tour/still photographer for VR National and for individual clients, and a magazine photographer for several publications. I kept thinking how awful if would have been if he had tried to kiss me! LOL I don't know why that landed in my head, but it did. And then he had a young man pull out the two long swords out of his mouth. UGH. NOT ME! Fritos for me, too, steve! :)
