All Saint's Day in New Orleans is a unique experience. On this day many of us visit cemeteries. Saint Louis One is the oldest cemetery in New Orleans. This photo focuses on a line of tombs and the ironwork fences. These graves are above ground vaults; most were constructed in the 18th century and 19th century. With very narrow walkways/aisles, this cemetery is not a drive through graveyard. If you visit New Orleans, do not miss seeing this wonderful place! kkp
