This is a digital painting from a photograph of the statue of Robert E. Lee as he has stood for decades at Lee Circle in New Orleans. This month, May 2017, his statue came down for various reasons. This image is scanned first and then digitally enhanced and painted. It does not have the depth of a usual digital image.
