A Rex float on Mardi Gras Day has a Cajun theme with a float decorated with a straw-hatted Cajun man playing an accordion, an alligator with a huge mouth and teeth, cattails, flowers, and two masked riders throwing beads and more to the crowd. This was shot in 2006, half year after Hurricane Katrina came to visit us here. We were told it would be impossible to have a Mardi Gras in 2006, but we pulled it off. Best one ever.
