Description
This truly remarkable scene in the Faubourg Marigny in New Orleans just really grabbed me. If you look closely you can see in the rips of the red faux (?) leather a running person and perhaps a knife blade on the viewer's right. Whatever this is all about; this worn and cracked sofa greeted me like an old friend begging to be photographed. So I did. I wonder who sits in it. Do any passers-by sit in it? I did. I wonder if it is still there! :)

Thanks, y'all and The Social Arts and Southern Photographers for the features! :) I am lovin' this couch more every minute. I wish I had added to its artwork! :) kk

After the viewers of the couch discussed their finds, I had to go back and just stare at it. Yep, the running man, the flying object, the leather shadows due to age and use. Great shot. I've always loved doors. Gives you a shot of just what might be living behind the door.

It is funny what images one can see in this old couch. For me, I see a runner, a snake and an anole lizard. Great colors and capture, KK!

I think this couch is a scene from Lord of the Rings! I can see the mountains of Mordor in the back cushions. :)
Kathleen K Parker replied:
Oh, yes, most definitely, Steve! :) I have come to the decision that that long line in the back is a swimming alligator. Ya think? :) kk

I see the runner and the far right, to me, appears as a bird! Nicely seen and captured!
Kathleen K Parker replied:
It IS a bird; I think you are right, Debra. Like an egret upside down! Good eye!! And thanks!! :) kk
