Here is a portrait of one of the old timer musicians here. A musician, he was or maybe still is, a member of one of the numerous marching bands here. Often their caps will have the name of their group on them, but his does not. I have searched for his name and or group and cannot find it. So if anyone knows, please email me through my site. Thanks!
I am Kathleen K. Parker, a native of New Orleans. Over the years, I have worked as a contract venue photographer for AOL-Time Warner, a virtual tour/still photographer for VR National and for individual clients, and a magazine photographer for several publications. In addition, I have college degrees in Computer Graphic Design and English. Today I photograph weddings, especially destination weddings here, other events, landscapes, people, portraits, interesting subjects in general, and, of course, my beloved New Orleans. Street photography and French Quarter photography are two of my favorite subjects!! Thank you for visiting my fine art gallery! Thanks everyone. I really appreciate your great comments. You know, this man... his image, too... refreshes my mind of the wisdom and acceptance of life often inherent in one's old age. I hope I have that when I am his age. He gives me determination to fight well my own life issues and battles. I may have to frame him and put him in my bedroom! :)) Thanks again, y'all and to my musician guy! KK
