Here is a black and white portrait of one of my favorite subjects and friends in the French Quarter and Jackson Square area- Dr. Luv. We met each other shortly after Hurricane Katrina and have been friends since. He is quite a character and known by many. I understand that he has gone to live with some of his family in the country. I am Kathleen K. Parker, a native of New Orleans. Over the years, I have worked as a contract venue photographer for AOL-Time Warner, a virtual tour/still photographer for VR National and for individual clients, and a magazine photographer for several publications.
