Description
I took this photo in 2006; half a year after Hurricane Katrina damaged New Orleans so badly. This cottage was on Elysian Fields Ave. in New Orleans. It is a typical cottage style found in the area. Two cast iron fence posts stand near the sidewalk. You will see the "searchers' markings" in the middle of the image. It is an X with notations of what was or was not found in the house when it was searched for survivors or else after the storm. I have processed this with a few filters and added a blue texture to the photo.
