A female mime stands at the entrance of Pirate's Alley by St. Louis Cathedral in the French Quarter of New Orleans. She is wearing scary Halloween makeup and a green sequined long dress. In her hand is a tiny parasol and on her arm is a gold purse. Her hands are gloved. Her legs are covered with black net stockings. On her head is a green feathered hat. A small donation box awaits dollars from contributors.
The lamppost IS crooked-not the photo!
I am Kathleen K. Parker, a native of New Orleans. Over the years, I have worked as a contract venue photographer for AOL-Time Warner, a virtual tour/still photographer for VR National and for individual clients, and a magazine photographer for several publications. In addition, I have college degrees in Computer Graphic Design and English. Today I photograph weddings, especially destination weddings here, other events, landscapes, people, portraits, interesting subjects in general, and, of course, my beloved New Orleans. Street photography and French Quarter photography are two of my favorite subjects!! Thank you for visiting my fine art gallery!
