Description
Digital painting of a scene in which mardi gras parade goers of all ages wait in front of a white church for the parade to pass. People bring ice chests, folding chairs, ladders, bead bags, and also buy from vendors on the route. This was taken on a Sunday before Mardi Gras Day itself. Three parades were posted to roll that day. This was on St. Charles Ave.

Thanks steve! Yes, it is something people don't ever forget!! I remember Mardi Gras Days back to when I was maybe 8 years old, jumping to teenage years when we rode in parades in decorated big trucks with friends, throwing beads and so forth... It is really fun on either end ..the throwing end or the catching end. We are lucky because we can both catch and shoot photos!! I cannot imagine a parade without beads and stuff!! I am glad you liked Mardi Gras. Thanks, again, steve! kk
