Description
St Louis Cathedral in the French Quarter of New Orleans is accompanied in this photo by the banana trees in Jackson Square and by the fence and lampposts surrounding Jackson Square. Many people do not know that these are banana trees. I have seen them called palm leaves. They aren't. Banana! If you ever had a banana tree in your yard, you would know that they never go away! Ever! :)
