Description
On a quiet street in the French Quarter in New Orleans,LA USA, one will find properties like this lovely one. Enclosed by a brick wall that is covered with ivy and incorporates an elaborate iron gate, a stately estate has stood for many generations. The sun shines beautifully on a tree and part of the wall. Rooftops, windows, and chimneys are visible in the distance. It is a peaceful image.

Your French Quarter image reminds me of places in Charleston, S.C. I love the way the light is hitting and warming the front brick wall and vines.

Very nice KK! Love how the sun is hitting that vine covered wall making the colors so vibrant!

Lovely light in what feels like a secluded area. I'm surprised this is in the French Quarter. LF

It is in the 800 block (831) of one of the FQ streets. If you look closely at the plaque on brick wall, you might be able to figure out all the words. I only got the number and Vieux Carre. There are a lot of courtyards and such like this hidden throughout the Quarter, Steve. Should you come to photograph here again, I would like to go with you on some of these tours. Lemme know. :) kk
