As evening approaches, a gondola glides on a lagoon in City Park in New Orleans, LA. There is one gondola in the park, and it is a real one, imported from Venice.
Robert-Roberto Dula at Nola Gondola is the gondolier and owner of the boat and business. I was lucky enough to get a free ride in trade for photos and for writing an article about him. Lots to see and fun! If you come to NOLA, check it out. You will see things in City Park that most of us who have lived here since birth have never seen. Color image available, too.

It makes a story ...going into the unknown ghostly area and the lantern leads the way but also protects anyone who is in its proximity...but...never lean outside the gondola as than the lantern cannot guarantee your safety :-)) something like that ? You can put it in your writing !! 😉😄
