Artist's Description
The sky and clouds are reflected in the panels of this red door in the urban area of New Orleans known as the Faubourg Marigny. Aqua blue bricks with red tops stand to the side of the entrance. The red door is beautifully decorated and paneled. An election ad hangs on the knob. A code lock secures the door. Doorways in this area are unique. Love them! This was shot not quite a half year after Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans in 2005. We keep on keepin' on down here! :)

Over the years, I have worked as a contract venue photographer for AOL-Time Warner, a virtual tour/still photographer for VR National and for individual clients, and a magazine photographer for several publications.
