Description
This is a black and white "dreamy" version of Destrehan Plantation (in color). See the color version and the polaroid styled version in my FAA site. Destrehan Plantation is located on the River Road near New Orleans. Typical of the plantations in the area, it sits among very old mossy oaks.

Like this very much. Brings back personal memories. Everything's there except the people and the activity. It's as if the ghosts want to take us back to a time that was and if no more. Haunting image. Makes me feel like I'm there. Bob

Thank you very much, Bob. I like to think of it that way, too. Right after Hurrincane Katrina a friend of mine and I took a tour of the inside, just us and the guide. I felt like I had gone back in time because sometimes I was able to stray from the guide and go into areas alone. Kinda haunting indeed! I loved it! :) kk
