Description
This is a close-up of a wonderful mardi gras favor. It is an antique, but I am not sure of its date or exactly which mardi gras organization gave it as a favor to its female ball guests. It was given to me by my mother-in-law two decades ago, and she told me it was either a Rex or Comus favor. Not sure. It is packed in a box in the attic now. At any rate it is one unique and fabulous piece of rare and antique jewelry, shaped as a star. This is the center of it. I have added a light painting process to the image.
